Agitator pressure filters

Agitatior pressure filters are suitable for batch filtering of liquids with a special solid matter content, especially if post-processing of the materials is intended.

The liquid is mechanically separated by means of a filter layer (textile or metal filter). The filtration can take place under pressure or vacuum. In addition, the process may be enhanced by heating or cooling. The agitator is height-adjustable and during the process smoothes and discharges the material or, during the washing cycle, provides optimal thorough mixing of the solid matter. 

A geared motor powers the system and the agitator shaft can be raised or lowered. The filter tray can be equipped with a metal filter mesh or with a filter cloth. The filter tray can be lowered hydraulically or changing the filter medium or for cleaning. Alternatively, in smaller designs, the filter tray is able to swivel out sideways for easy access. The infeed chamber is equipped with a spraying system for cleaning or flushing out of solid matter.

  • Shell and filter bottom heated
  • Shaft sealed by double-action gland
  • Horizontal product discharge with hydraulic valve

Filter bottom can be lowered and raised hydraulically
